This 8-session group is designed to offer practical tools for cultivating increased compassion, insight, and well-being in your daily life.
Particularly well-suited to those who may struggle with self-criticism, shame and/or anxiety, Embodying Mindful Compassion offers both cognitive and somatic practices for building your capacity for compassion towards yourself and others.
Within the context of a supportive group environment, the group seeks to support you in facing life’s challenges with greater ease and flexibility through a combination of learning, skill-building, practice and integration.

FORMAT:
8-week series, meets once a week for 1h15min, starts 2nd week of April
IN-PERSON group (Tuesdays 6pm, in Asheville, NC, Apr 9-May 29)
ONLINE group (Thursdays 12pm, on Zoom, Apr 11-May 30)Each session will include:
- a check-in,
- a theme for learning/contemplation
- guided practices (mindfulness practices, meditation, simple movement, journalling, etc)
- supportive group discussion
- optional readings and/or homeworkGroup size: min 4, max 8 people
Price: Flexible scale
$320 | $400 | $480 based on self-assessed needs, access to resources and identityWeekly topics to include:

THIS GROUP MIGHT BE FOR YOU IF:
• You experience self-criticism and/or shame, anxiety, worry or stress
• You struggle with a strong inner critic
• You are keen to learn practical ways to build greater self-encouragement, kindness and support within and toward yourself
• You want to show up more thoughtfully in interactions with others
• You would like to build your capacity to navigate difficult situations or emotions with more ease
• You want to understand yourself more fully and enhance your experience of well-being
Meditation, somatic, or group-work experience is not necessary to participate. All are welcome.
